Given enough RAM, my experience is that each major OS release performs better than the last. Strongly disagree with such an assessment, especially since the OP has 2 GB RAM. Only my 450MHZ G4 Cube runs better under 10.4.11 Tiger, but then again, it has a 450MHZ G4 and 768MB SDR SDRAM. In my experience, my 1.5GHZ PowerBook G4s (15 inch with Sudden-Motion-Sensor and 17 inch) perform very well under 10.5.8 Leopard. Since we already have a license (I assume) can we get install disks for free or cheaply?
